The M.Sc. (General Chemistry) course affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad is comprised of four semesters with following four modules:

CHIT-1.1 Inorganic Chemistry

CHOT-1.2 Organic Chemistry

CHPT-1.3 Physical Chemistry

CHGT-1.7 General Chemistry.

A human resource of excellent quality is generated from the inception year 2010. This core course is attached to the Department of Chemistry and intake capacity is 30 students. 15 from Management and 15 under University quota are enrolled to build a solid foundation in the subject in order to choose a career in Industry, Academics or Research. This course was started on Non-credit based system and in the year 2012 onwards implemented CBCS modality highlighting open elective paper and Implant Training project paper.

Our results are far better than the overall result of General Chemistry as announced by KUD. This course is designed to widen the students’  knowledge in specific branch of chemistry.

For seeking admission under Management quota, students have to contact PG Centre of the college.

For seeking admission under Karnatak University quota, students have to approach Karnatk University, Dharwad and need to bring the selection letter issued by the PG Department of Studies in Chemistry of the said University.
