Title of the Practice: Computer Empowerment Initiative

Objectives of the Practice:

To provide students with practical computer skills, enhance their technological proficiency, and integrate specialized courses alongside regular academics.

The Context:

Established in January 2023, the Computer Lab features 42 computers generously donated by UL India Private Limited, aiming to bridge the technological gap in rural Karnataka.

The Practice:

A dedicated computer instructor guides students through courses such as Microsoft Office and Tally, offered at a nominal fee alongside their standard classes. This initiative broadens their skill set and fosters practical knowledge.

Evidence of Success:

Examinations are conducted, and certificates are issued to successful candidates, validating their proficiency and recognizing their achievements. The lab’s impact is evident in the active engagement of numerous students.

Problems Encountered and Resources Required:

While the initiative has thrived, potential challenges and necessary resources for further enhancement should be identified and addressed.
